Hiking in the National Park
A network of paths have been laid out, most of which are open to the public. You do not need a ticket to enter Dutch National Parks. Dogs must always be leashed in the dunes.
As of 2025, there is a network of paths laid out via the Texel Waling Network. More information is found via this link.
Be aware that there are various colours for different routes. Between the 1st of March and 1st of September, several paths through the National Park are closed off to give nature the space it needs. For actual information, reach out to one of our information centers:
